Waiting on Mr. Mailman

I remember being little and how I loved to check the mail. I always waited for mail addressed to me. Funny how it never was, yet there I was everyday waiting to check it. I mean who would be sending a young girl mail?! I didn't get magazine subscriptions until I was older, so I usually collected the junk mail that eventually got trashed.

I still LOVE checking the mail (even though the dreadful sight of bills takes away the sparkle of a letter, a magazine, or a key leading to a bigger mailbox where a package could be waiting). I continue to check it everyday with such anticipation of what is inside. 

Today, I had an idea that I'd be receiving a package and I could not wait to get home. (UPS tracking is great- "Delivered") I ordered some cute rugs and pillowcases from www.UrbanOutfitters.com. I ordered two gray and white chevron striped rugs for each side of my bed. The cute turquoise and white chevron striped pillowcases were for my daughter who was equally excited about their arrival. I got so giddy when I saw the box on my doorstep. This really made my day! I just LOVE them. They add a new element to my room that has my inner HGTV cells running on overdrive. Mental notes are smoking!
